A New Outdoor Living Space in Clairemont

We are always designing fun and exciting projects for our clients.  Our style is always changing since each property requires something a little different.  A big influence right now is low-water, low-maintenance gardens.  We call them "California Blend" which is made up of succulents, tropicals, rock and boulders.  We love a good challenge!

A Craftsman Style Backyard & Pool

After an extensive home addition, Landscape Logic was hired to redo the entire backyard and add a pool, fire pit, pavers, vinyl fence, plants, irrigation, and of course, landscape lighting.  The pool is heated and has a midnight blue pebble finish with LED lights.  

Vanishing Edge Spa and Water Features

Landscape Logic designed and built this entire yard from scratch.  The house was completely remodeled in 2017 and so was the yard.  

Top of the Hill - Bay Park

Scripps Ranch Residence

We transformed this lonely backyard into a very colorful and lively retreat.  Everything you see here is new, including the patio cover attached to the house which we designed.  It woks well by creating shade for the house and creates a great connection between the new landscape and outdoor space.

Tranquil Backyard

Landscape Logic was hired to transform this simple backyard into a multi-purpose space.  The mission was to have a fun and playful area for kids on one side and a soft-lit adult playground on the other.  Mission accomplished!

Clairemont  Craftsman  Full Home Remodel

This property overlooks the ocean and Cardiff by the Sea.  Even though it is east of the freeway, you get the sense that you're overlooking the ocean from the vanishing edge pool and stunning ocean views.

Calming French Garden

Landscape Logic built this masterpiece French garden overlooking the Morgan Run golf course in Del Mar, CA.  Designed by Kim, renovated in 2014.  It feels as though you are walking in a real French garden.

Quick and Easy Curb Appeal

With water conservation on the mind, Landscape Logic was hired to convert this small front lawn into a drought-tolerant friendly garden. This is what we did in under three days from start to finish.

Bay Ho Backyard

A small upgrade to an unusable backyard full of dead lawn.  Landscape Logic transformed this space into a firepit lounge with ambient lighting and a small pergola for balance.

We removed this water-thirsty lawn and replaced it with artificial turf and pavers. It's a huge upgrade and big water saver from what was there before. See the transformation with these before and afters.

Landscape Logic was hired by a young family who was in dire need of a front yard remodel.  After having a newborn, they really knew that the front yard was an important place to spend time with the baby and to know their neighbors.  We also gave some guidance on making minor upgrades to the house so that everything was a cohesive fit.  See how it all turned out.

Richmond St. Residence

This house in the Hillcrest area needed an updated yard for entertaining.  Built on a hillside, Landscape Logic had some challenges to deal with.  We set a design in place that incorporated three terraced levels for a spa, sun deck, a fire pit, and a view deck.  All worked out amazingly well and we also created a water-wise garden for the front yard to compliment the back yard.

Bonsall Ranch

Landscape Logic designed and built this beautiful pool and flagstone decking at a ranch in Bonsall, CA.  The views make you feel like you're starring out into the hills of Tuscany.

Pt. Loma house

This Pt. Loma house once was full of large Pepper trees that took over the garden.  Landscape Logic designed this space to be eco friendly, meaning, water-wise and low maintenance.  In addition, we added raised vegetable boxes and dwarf citrus trees for consumption.

Point Loma Front Yard

These are Before, During, and After photos of a recent project we completed in Point Loma. The front yard was a sloped lawn and unusable. We terraced the yard with Keystone Country Manor and installed a concrete walkway to the front door.



Del Mar Residence

Landscape Logic teamed up with Marrokal Design & Remodel to create a functional yard for a small family.  We packed in a lot of amenities in this medium-sized backyard.  First was a prefab spa that went into the ground halfway, then went in a fire pit, bbq island, pergola, a lawn for the kids, and last but not least a half-court basketball area (not shown). 

Carmel Valley Playful Yard

This was a new home built in Carmel Valley on a corner lot.  We were asked to create a fun atmosphere for the entire family.  We designed and built a fire pit and grilling station for the adults and then installed lots of turf and a play structure for the children.  All worked out great and everyone is very happy!

Water-Wise Drought Tolerant Garden

This is the ultimate water-wise garden approach, aside from gravel and cactus.  Landscape Logic pushed the envelope in design with lush and colorful plants.  The dry stream bed add an element of natural beauty along with working as a water retention basin during out winter season.

Carmel Valley Outdoor Kitchen

We teamed up with Marrokal Design & Remodel to complete this backyard addition.  Complete with tiki torches, a very complete kitchen island, a firepit and all.  The family of 4 is now using their backyard for all staycations!

Kensington Outdoor Fire Pit Seating Lounge

Landscape Logic took a lonely seating area and created a relaxing fire pit lounge area for evening use.  The flagstone name is chocolate charcoal and is a natural quartzite material.  We added brick to tie into the existing pool deck (not show) and also decomposed granite (D.G.) as a walking path to access the pool equipment area.

Lake Hodges Pool

Landscape Logic was hired to design a pool that would take full advantage of the lake view below.  This backyard is quite a treat to be in and has a full panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains.  Also designed was a cabana with outdoor kitchen and full amenities.  Down below we designed a tennis court and other play areas.
