Landscape Design Gallery

We are always designing fun and exciting projects for our clients. Our style is always changing since each property requires something a little different. A big influence right now is low-water, low-maintenance gardens. We call them "California Blend" which is made up of succulents, tropicals, rock and boulders. We love a good challenge!

Dream Home Backyard Design Concept

Landscape Logic transformed this backyard into a very user-friendly space. A place for adults and children to use together at all hours of the day. I especially love the dual-sided fireplace so that the kids can use after getting out of the pool while the adults are hanging out under the patio cover.

Park-like Setting with Natural Elements

This landscape design concept is for a hotel in San Diego. The owner wanted to create a space for the guests to go and lounge around. It's currently lawn and uses over 5,000 gallons per month to water. We swapped the lawn for pavers to make a functional space. Now with a firepit, patio cover and bbq island, everyone has place to hang out.

Resort Backyard with a Canyon View

Landscape Logic was commissioned to design a small backyard landscape and Pool. This design incorporates all of the popular elements that make up a functional and modern backyard space. We have a pool and spa, outdoor dining, two pergolas, a firepit, artificial turf, Belgard paver hardscape in a modern pattern, a low garden wall, drought-tolerant plants and trees, and natural boulders.

Full Blown Backyard Upgrade Extravaganza

This back yard is being designed to host parties or just hang out and relax pool side with your favorite drink. We created a lounge area with a firepit for gathering and family time. The firepit sits in front of a lovely water wall which will create a trickling water sound. At night, the area will be lit up by the firepit, the bistro lights overhead, and the lighting coming from the cabana structure. My favorite aspect of the yard is the pool and the arching deck jets on both sides. Can't wait to see this built!

Entertaining Lovers Backyard Concept

Landscape Logic created this concept sketch for a house in Del Mar. The plan was to update the yard for a family with young kids who also love to entertain. This layout has everything for a fun and usable backyard for everyone.

Large Backyard Turf and Patio

Landscape Logic created this plan for house in Carmel Valley. The idea here was to create a small space for dining and a large space for the kids to run around and play on the large lawn. This plan also has a vegetable box for the family to grow their own food. Beyond that, the rest of the yard is aesthetically pleasing with colorful plants and trees.

Backyard Fire Pit Lounge with Boulders

Landscape Logic loves to incorporate fire pits in their designs. We know that they are a great place for families to get together and spend quality time. This one has a large format tile on the patio which, in this case, transitions with the large format tile in the newly remodeled house. The yard already had these large boulders so we designed around them as a feature.

Front Yard Modern Remodel with Privacy

Landscape Logic designed a new front yard that will bring a more modern twist to the house. The entry walkway will have river rock between large concrete steps. There will be a courtyard wall and arbor to create privacy to the front yard.

Backyard Spa and Fire pit Retreat

Landscape Logic designed this little outdoor oasis in Carlsbad. The design includes everything that a family needs to stay at home and be entertained. A circular fire pit, an outdoor kitchen, a circular raised spa, and of course, some no maintenance artificial turf.

Front Yard Modern Remodel with Parking

Landscape Logic designed a new front yard that will bring a more modern flare to this ranch mediterranean style house. The driveway will have turf between large pads to break up the space. There will be a courtyard wall and arbor to create privacy to the front yard. Designed by Tony Vitale of Landscape Logic.

Whole House and Landscape Remodel

Every now and then Tony Vitale of Landscape Logic gets a chance to design a whole house and landscape together. This is one of them that is in complete design stage. We will be completely remodeling an entire house, partnering up with a general contractor, then building the complete outdoor space. The outdoor space will consist of a vanishing edge pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen island, a fire pit, and outdoor dining. Stay tuned to see how this project unfolds. We are so excited!!

Torrey Hills Backyard Pool & Spa Retreat

We were hired to design a pool in a small backyard. We maximized the space with a pool & spa, concrete decking, and a turf area for lounge chairs. This yard faces South so we needed to add two umbrellas that will provide shade during the summer months.

Front Yard Upgrade with New Driveway

Landscape Logic created this modern design front yard remodel in Del Mar, California. We have a new driveway with detached concrete slabs which are part of the modern design. On the right side we have a river rock garden that flanks the artificial turf. This plan has recently been installed and look amazing!

Sideyard Tree Canopy and Concrete Patio

Landscape Logic created this concept sketch for a house out in Ramona. We went with a modern approach with clean lines and detached concrete pads. The pads have artificial turf separating them which is a popular item in the modern fashion.

Small Front Yard with Extended Driveway

Landscape Logic designed this small front yard in La Jolla, CA. We expanded the driveway with a flagstone walkway and softened the front with artificial turf. This yard now has great curb appeal that the owner was looking for. Simple yet elegant.

Contemporary Backyard Pool with Outdoor Kitchen

Del Mar Residence with a newly remodeled backyard. The pool was remodeled and updated with new water line tile, coping, and plaster. The outdoor kitchen ins new and incorporates everything a chef needs. We had fun with the concrete decking and adding turf strips to break up the large area. In the very back we added a Trex deck with a detached spa for the ultimate relaxation.

Organic Front Yard Design with Water Feature

We designed a water-friendly garden and expanded the patio area with flagstone. The artificial turf will act as a connector to the new patio and will contrast the colors between old patio and new patio. The creek bed will act as a dry water feature with a bubbling urn on one end.

Small Backyard Transformation with Amenities

Landscape Logic was commissioned to design a small backyard landscape and Pool. This design incorporates all of the popular elements that make up a functional and modern backyard space. We have a pool and spa, outdoor dining, two pergolas, a firepit, artificial turf, Belgard paver hardscape in a modern pattern, a low garden wall, drought-tolerant plants and trees, and natural boulders.

Front Yard Curb Appeal with Organic Lines

We designed a new front yard to be California Tropical with a low-water, low-maintenance vibe. Artificial turf bordered with some river rock will have a nice contrast of colors and will keep the sidewalk clean.

Modern Front Yard Makeover

University City Residence where Landscape Logic was hire to give this 1970's home a facelift. The home was being remodeled at the same time so we needed to compliment the modern design. We ended up giving the house a new walkway from the sidewalk and seperating it from the driveway. The concrete squares really help by guiding the eye directly to the front door. The yard on the left was elevated and leveled to make it more functional. The horizontal fence gives the room on the left some much needed privacy and creates a courtyard feel for that room.

This is an example of a mid-sized contemporary drought-tolerant and partial sun front yard concrete paver and wood fence retaining wall landscape in San Diego for summer.

Front Yard Planter Upgrades

We are giving this outdated landscape some new curb appeal. We flanked the sidewalk with trees that we will light up at night with LED landscape lighting. The property line will be lined with small, low-maintenance, shrubs. The front sidewalk will be lined with river rock which will keep the sidewalk clean from debris and will help to keep the animals out of the yard.

Front Yard Makeover with Stairs and Walkway

Landscape Logic was hired to create concepts for this front yard remodel in Del Mar, CA. The front yard had an unusable slope which needed some creative ideas to make it functional.

New Porch and Front Yard Makeover

Landscape Logic was commissioned to design a small porch and front yard landscape. This design incorporates all of the popular elements that make up great curb appeal. We have artificial turf, flagtstone hardscape in a modern pattern, a low garden wall, drought-tolerant plants and trees, and natural boulders.

Resort Backyard with an Ocean View

Landscape Logic transformed this backyard into a very user-friendly space. A place for adults and children to use together at all hours of the day. I especially love the two raised decks on either side of the pool. The pool is raised out of the ground so this helps to make the transition into the pool easier. Also, the two raised decks allow for a better view out to the ocean. The fire pit and outdoor kitchen is under the extended roof of the house, making a real cozy space.
